García Hamilton Abogados was born from the alliance of two highly regarded jurists: José Ignacio García Hamilton and Salvador María Lozada. From the outset, the firm combined professional practice with academic thought, fostering a legal culture that prioritizes rigorous analysis, client focus, and institutional sensitivity.

The firm's management then passed to Dr. Bernabé García Hamilton, marking the beginning of a new era with a greater focus on corporate clients. The addition of Dr. Pablo O. Bergthal in 2008 brought a business perspective without abandoning the firm's boutique character. His distinctive motto encapsulates the firm's philosophy of personalized service: We treat companies as if they we're individuales and individuales as if they we're companies.

In 2013, Dr. Eduardo René Stordeur joined the board as of counsel, strengthening the academic and technical profile with his recognized career as a national judge and academic.

En 2017, el Estudio recuperó su nombre original: Garcia Hamilton, reflejando un nuevo ciclo de consolidación institucional. Se incorporaron como socios Manuel Garcia Hamilton, Santiago D’Eramo y Vanesa Gianfelice, reafirmando una cultura de excelencia, formación continua y cercanía profesional.

In 2021, Dr. Eduardo Stordeur (Jr.), PhD in Law (UBA), professor at UTDT and the UBA, and former member of the National Commission for the Defense of Competition, joined the firm. His experience in economic regulation, competition defense, and interdisciplinary environments brings a comparative and contemporary perspective to the firm's practice.

In 2017, the firm returned to its original name: García Hamilton Abogados , reflecting a new cycle of institutional consolidation. Manuel García Hamilton, Santiago D'Eramo, and Vanesa Gianfelice joined as partners, reaffirming a culture of excellence, ongoing training, and professional approachability.
